The family doctor shortage continues apace with dire and likely accurate warnings of an almost doubling of Ontarians without access to a family doctor within two years to four million people given that 1.7 million have a doctor older than 65 years of age.

Two stories hit home this week about why two physicians have thrown in the towel and closing down their practices.
