House Calls, #929, June 16, 2024: Canadian Pharmacists Association says governments should make pharmacists “as a first point of primary care”. Going to medical school and training to become a primary care physician will fulfill this aim.

My view on the Canadian Pharmacists Association’s assertion that pharmacists should be able to prescribe all medications other than narcotics. I explain the inherent errors in this proposal.
