The dearth of medical students who opted to apply for a Canadian Family Medicine residency position increased to 268 unfilled slots. Interest continues to decline for a career in family medicine. I discuss why, what will reverse it, and if we continue to talk platitudes and ultimately do nothing, good frickin’ luck to you all as you get older.
