The State of the COVID: unmasked

The second wave has come to certain states in the United States. Basic principles of disease prevention and transmission are being ignored by segments of society.

The bottom line is to prevent this from happening in Canada, everyone has to buy into wearing masks when entering stores, using public transportation, when it is impossible to physical distance the recommended two meters, or entering any indoor environment where there are going to be other people other than your immediate family.

Unfortunately, many businesses here in Ottawa are not enforcing the recommendations and as such we run the risk of seeing a spike in infections. By all means start opening up businesses and society again but at least use facemasks and physical distancing to reduce the risk.
